The software will automatically grab the available monitors and, if available, custom monitors that we have designed specifically for your vehicle. I’ve been meaning to share my experience with AMR Performance for quite some time now, and it’s nothing short of outstanding. Three years ago, I entrusted AMR to unlock the true potential of my 2017 C43 with their Comport Pro Tuning Suite, and their tune has truly unleashed the beast under the hood.
The raw power increase is a night and day difference – the acceleration is exhilarating, and the shifts are clean and exceptionally aggressive. Despite the increase in power, I’ve noticed an improvement in fuel economy, which is a fantastic bonus.

IMPORTANT!! Please stop and take the time to read this testimonial. My experience may help you avoid the issues I encountered with a “cheap” tune.
I had been researching tunes for my car and was anxious to make a purchase and start the process. I connected with Chris Chan from AMR Performance who took the time to explain AMR’s tune and process. I didn’t realize, at the time, that there are differences between tuners and the quality of the product. I was simply thinking “a tune is a tune.”
I selected a Morendi tune due to price. Once my car was tuned, the performance was horrible. The car idled rough and shook so badly you couldn’t safely drink beverages (ask my wife, she often spilled her drinks). I could no longer drive my car daily. I was so unhappy with the tune. I attempted to contact Morendi for months. I wanted them to make an adjustment. Finally, last week Morendi finally agreed to assist me. They connected to my laptop to flash my car. They neglected to advise me to connect my car to a “battery maintener “ while the car was being flashed. When complete, I tried to start the car. Nothing. I tried again and again. Nothing. My car was not starting and I panicked. I reached out to them for assistance and they ghosted me. They stopped answering my calls, blocked me on social media and wouldn’t respond to my emails.
I didn’t know what to do and I remembered my conversations with Chris Chan. I reached out to him and asked for his help. Other tuners and my local dealership turned me away, but not Chris. After speaking with Chris, he told me my ECU was “bricked”. Chris took the time to speak with me even though I wasn’t his customer. He spoke with the engineers at AMR Performance and offered me a solution. Chris said the only way to correct the problem was to ship my ECU to HQ. Before shipping my ECU, Chris and AMR provided me with detailed instructions on how to safely remove the ECU. After my last experience, this offered my peace of mind. I shipped my ECU to AMR HQ to analyze if the ECU could be reversed. AMR took the time to reverse engineer the damage done by the Morendi tune. After 3 business days, Chris contacted me and informed me that AMR was successful at “unbricking” the ECU. While my ECU was at AMR, I decided to invest in a Stage 2, street tune. Chris suggested taking the opportunity to upgrade to the RV3.1 since my ECU was already with AMR.
I received my ECU and reinstalled in my car. I was so afraid that my car wouldn’t start. The moment of truth. My car roared to life! The beast was unleashed. When I took the car for a test drive, I was blown away by how smooth the car up shifted and the added power I felt in acceleration.
What I have learned from this experience is you get what you pay for. The added value for spending a little more is the convenience of tuning with a Comport Pro. I can flash a tune in 3 minutes or less at my leisure. No appointment necessary. When I was shopping for tuners, I just focused on getting the tune not knowing how the tune is uploaded.
I cannot thank Chris Chan, and AMR, enough for helping me when no one else would. They helped me even though I initially chose a different tuner. If you are considering a tune, I strongly urge you to reach out to Chris Chan. He is there to answer your questions, alleviate your fears, and get you in the right tune. If you make your decision based on a few hundred dollars, you may have a story like mine. The extra money is worth the quality of the product and stellar customer service Chris and AMR will provide.

The tune is awesome! It’s the best thing you can do without grabbing a wrench. It took me a few tries with the software, at one point my car was disabled, and I’m sure AMR would have helped me install it. But I’m too much of a hard head to ask for help. The software has a hard reset on the ECU so if you get in too much trouble there’s a safety net. Once the tune was loaded it made the car come alive. It was already a fun car stock, but the tune unlocks the real potential of the car. If you are on the fence about this, hop over to the ‘yes’ side. The grass is greener.

I had DME tune and to be honest it I wasn’t happy with it. It ran sluggish and wasn’t as good as everyone was talking about. Purchased the AMR stage 1 comport tune for my c43 about two weeks ago. Wanted to wait a little before jumping on and giving an honest review of the product. Customer service wise. Fantastic experience from start to finish. The guy Chris walked me through the entire process, what to expect and answered all of the questions and concerns I had about purchasing the product. Performance wise. I was blown away with the added power. Previously I felt I needed to be in sport + mode to have the level of power I was looking for. Now I’m 100% satisfied with the output in comfort mode and the sport + mode leaves everyone who’s been in the car(including myself) with a smile from ear to ear. Night and day difference in performance. I’ve had other cars tuned with similar style tuning mechanisms and this is far and above a higher quality product. I have yet to see any negative side affects after having the car like this for 2+ weeks. More to come if anything results in any major issues. But so far so good!!

Great experience with my 2019 C43 AMF, AMR AND chris chan. Delivery was super fast. Initially i had some internet issues downloading but Chris Walked me through everything and I couldn’t be happier. Car noticeably pulls harder and still maintains daily drive ability. Chris was great over the phone and walked me through everything f as this was my first time tuning but it could have been easier. Next up is CPC tune, My stock 0-60 was 4.28, after the AMR tune 3.6 so obviously much quicker. If you have been thinking about getting a tune hit these guys up, you won’t be disappointed.

I bought my C 43 in March of this year and it was as close to my dream cars I could get for the time being. The car is powerful stock but after seeing several YouTube videos of what this car could do tuned I couldn’t resist!. I first started with a race chip which gave me what I felt like was a significant increase in power but after talking with Chris Chan at AMR He was able to easily explain to me the difference between a piggyback in a total ECU flash In the way it affects the turbos as well as potential for massive amounts of horsepower and torque increases as well as maintaining integrity with the car. Chris went above and beyond to make sure that no I did I receive my tune in a timely manner but he also stayed on the phone with me on Sunday evening for at least an hour to walk me through the process of getting it set up. This review is long over due. My overall experience went so well that it almost feels insulting that I didn’t write this sooner. I have always been interested in getting more out of my car, but the general lack of knowledge and access to quick support made it somewhat intimidating for me that I never took the plunge. Chris (@c_chan450) at AMR changed all that for me…some context: I recently purchased a 2017 C43 AMG and for what its worth, I love this car as is. I decided to do some research into what upgrades I can do without compromising the integrity of Mercedes’s vision – which was (and still is) a very important factor for me. I also wanted control over what I put into my car, so like many others I made sure to do my due diligence. People typically get buried in forums/websites comparing the nuanced differences between very similar products, but it was almost immediately clear to me that AMR stood out from the competition. I based this decision on the consistency of their reviews/reputation, product offerings, user experience, and overall company mission as industry-leading specialists. A vehicle’s performance is much more than just horse power, its also about driving efficiency. I truly feel like my car performs the way like it was intended now. Even though the price may be steep for some, I can say it is well worth every penny – even for the average enthusiast. I had pretty high expectations from what I read and Chris only exceeded that. He was always there to answer important questions, address any of my concerns, work with me to troubleshoot expected speed bumps, and talk shop along the way. Recently I purchased the AMR Performance Comport for my 2018 C43 AMG Cabriolet. It’s perfect for what I wanted which is simply make driving my car even more fun by making it faster. I already have PE so I didn’t want to make any other changes but I like knowing there are other options should I change my mind in the future. While I was not happy the shipping took longer than expected (and arrived the day after a driving event I’d specifically confirmed was a deadline AMR could meet) and I was disappointed the carrier was the USPS (for the $25 I would have expected a carrier with guaranteed delivery), I can’t necessarily fault them for anything once the package shipped. I had a couple install related questions and Matt was able to assist over the phone and via email/ Facebook chat immediately. This is the first purchase like this I’ve ever made and I was assured by the AMR support I received coupled with fairly extensive research this was the best option for my car. I have no regrets and I look forward to planning a fall road trip asap now.
