AMR Performance is excited to announce TCU and CPC software upgrades now available for Mercedes-Benz vehicles done through your OBD2 port!
What is a CPC? How does it effect your vehicle? How can we make it better?
Lets first start with the CPC. What is it and what does it do? The CPC Module was introduced as early as 2015 in the Mercedes-Benz turbo vehicles. CPC is an additional ECU put installed in the vehicle in order to control the vehicles powertrain capabilities such as horsepower, torque, boost, exhaust valves, maximum speed and more.
AMR Performance now supplies a new CPC module and software that is patched and programmed allowing us to continually access the software. This gives us the ability to allow your vehicle to gain its true potential without the CPC’s factory settings limiting the ECU and vehicles performance! The change is tremendous! In short these enhancements consist of:
Enhancements:
- – Eliminated Torque Limitation Restriction (allows ECU access higher torque levels not able to be reach before)
- – Eliminated Engine Speed Limitation (allows ECU access higher engine speeds)
- – Eliminated Engine Horsepower Limitation (allows ECU access to higher horsepower levels not able to be reach before)
- – Eliminated Vehicle Speed Limitation (allows ECU access to higher MPH speeds)
- – Modified Adaptation For Performance Indicator (quicker throttle and engine speed response)
- – Modified Adaptation For Exhaust Valve Controller (exhaust valve control learning enhanced)
- – In-House Engineered & Tested Results
What is a TCU? How does it effect your vehicle? How can we make it better?
The TCU stands for “Transmission Control Unit”. This module is responsible for the vehicles shift patterns, shift requirements, RPM limits, torque limitations, speed limitations, and much more.
The AMR Performance TCU software upgrade is the most advanced transmission tune on the market offering the latest in transmission control technology that can be programmed into your vehicle right from the comfort and ease of your own home. Enhancements:
- – TCU Torque Limit Removal
- – TCU Speed Limiter Removed
- – Broader and Stronger Power Band
- – Reduced Transmission Slippage
- – Firmer Transmission Shift Patterns
- – Increase Transmission Shift Speed
- – In-House Engineered & Tested Results
- – Smoother Firmer Transmission Shift Patterns
