The AMR Performance #COMPORT is the most powerfully packed handheld on the market. The #COMPORT gives you the ability to switch between multiple tunes (maps) and multiple on octanes on-the-fly including reverting back to stock. The tunes (maps) are listed as a “Stage”. There are a variety of Stages depending on vehicle. Lets break down what each “Stage” means and the modifications that is required.
Stage 1 Tune (map)
- Intake Requirements: Stock air-box with stock air-filter or aftermarket drop-in air-filter replacement
- Downpipe Requirements: Stock downpipe(s) required
- Cat-Back Exhaust Requirements: Stock cat-back exhaust or aftermarket cat-back exhaust
Stage 2 Tune (map)
- Intake Requirements: Stock air-box with stock air-filter or aftermarket drop-in air-filter replacement
- Downpipe Requirements: Aftermarket downpipe(s)
- Cat-Back Exhaust Requirements: Stock cat-back exhaust or aftermarket cat-back exhaust
Choosing Octane(s)
Each Stage tune (map) lists a minimum required octane. A higher octane can be used safely on a Stage tune (map) designed for lower octane. DO NOT use the #COMPORT Stage tune(s) (map) designed for higher octane with lower octane fuel. With each Stage tune (map) there are options for designated octanes. These octanes are labeled for the “Stage” tune(s) (map) available.
- – “91 Oct” is for use with a minimum of 91 Octane fuel or better/higher.
- – “93 Oct” is for use with a minimum of 93 Octane fuel or better/higher.
