WHAT IS A CPC MODULE?
Newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles (as well as all pre-2019 E-Class) are equipped with a Central Powertrain Controller module more commonly known as a “CPC” module. This CPC module was engineered to override certain aspects of the Engine Control Unit, also referred to as a “ECU” as well as control over other modules controlling things such as exhaust valves.

WHAT DOES THE CPC MODULE CONTROL?
With overriding control over the module in your vehicle, limitations are set and controlled by the CPC. These limitations hold back additional performance. Think of the CPC as having two ECU’s, one controlling everything the engine control unit is doing and the other (CPC) limiting certain things the ECU is doing.

CAN YOU PROGRAM THE ONE THAT IS IN THE CAR?
Unfortunately, you cannot. Mercedes-Benz has a “One-Time-Programming” sector, also known as the OTP zone. This area is a one-time program zone that CANNOT be reprogrammed. Anyone who tells you differently is selling you a myth. Most they can do is make small variant coding changes that have no effect on power, torque, or limiters.

HOW CAN I BENEFIT FROM OUR CPC UPGRADE?
  • Eliminated Engine Horsepower Limitation (allows ECU access to higher horsepower levels)
  • Eliminated Torque Limitation Restriction (allows ECU access to higher torque levels)
  • Eliminated Engine Speed Limitation (allows ECU access to higher engine speeds)
  • Eliminated Vehicle Speed Limitation (allows ECU access to higher speeds)
  • Modified Adaptation for Performance Indicator (quicker throttle and engine speed response)
  • Modified Adaptation for Exhaust Valve Controller (enhanced control of exhaust valve learning)
  • EXCLUSIVE: Optional Start/Stop OFF
  • EXCLUSIVE: Optional Exhaust Valves 100% Open
  • EXCLUSIVE: Increased Engine Cooling Pump Efficiency
  • EXCLUSIVE: Increased Intercooler Cooling Pump Efficiency
